On Sunday, the Yorkshire Business Network (YBN)Â proudly took to the streets of Leeds to march in the vibrant and powerful Leeds Pride Parade. This celebration of inclusion, love, and community marked a significant moment for our network as we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our charity partner, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).
Our participation was more than symbolic. It was a proud declaration of our values: unity, visibility, and unwavering support for every child and every identity. By showing up, we reinforced our commitment to protecting vulnerable children while also standing with the LGBTQ+ community because every child deserves to grow up safe, accepted, and supported.
Connecting Purpose with People
Throughout the day, YBN members connected with a range of incredible local businesses, independent professionals, and organisations who share our passion for doing good. We were inspired by the conversations we had, the partnerships we began to build, and the sense of belonging that permeated the event.
At YBN we believe corporate social responsibility should be more than a tick-box, it should be a force for meaningful change. Our involvement in Pride was just one example of how businesses can combine purpose with impact, and how collective action can create lasting results.
